1. Operator and scope

TemplateSignal is operated under the EfficiencyNest brand. These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of TemplateSignal, including account creation, dashboard reporting, webhook ingestion, CSV imports, notification delivery, billing, and related support features.

By creating an account, accessing the product, or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these terms. If you use TemplateSignal for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and use the service only for lawful creator or business activity. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from our own security failure.

You may connect third-party services, including Notion and Stripe, only if you are authorized to do so and only for accounts, workspaces, and data you are permitted to use.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use TemplateSignal to break the law, interfere with the service, submit malicious payloads, bypass security controls, reverse engineer protected parts of the platform, abuse billing flows, or process third-party data without an appropriate legal basis.

We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe there is misuse, abuse, fraud, excessive technical load, or a material security risk.

4. Customer data, GDPR, and privacy responsibilities

TemplateSignal processes sales-event data that you send through webhooks, CSV imports, forwarding destinations, and notification settings. This may include personal data such as customer email addresses. You remain responsible for ensuring that data sent to TemplateSignal is lawful, accurate, and limited to what you are entitled to use.

Where EU or UK data-protection law applies, each party is responsible for the obligations that apply to its role. We use the data you submit to operate the service, calculate metrics, deliver notifications, secure the platform, and support account administration. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory rights or obligations that apply under the GDPR or other applicable privacy law.

5. Webhooks, imports, and service outputs

TemplateSignal relies on third-party inputs, including Notion Marketplace payloads, uploaded CSV files, and third-party delivery services. You understand that reporting and notifications depend on the quality, completeness, and availability of those external systems.

We may normalize or transform imported event data to calculate dashboard metrics, billing thresholds, and notifications. You are responsible for reviewing whether those outputs are suitable for your business and accounting use.

6. Plans, subscriptions, and billing

TemplateSignal currently offers a free plan and paid plans billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. Pricing, plan names, and usage thresholds may change prospectively. Changes do not apply retroactively to amounts already charged.

By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize recurring billing until cancellation takes effect. Upgrades may take effect immediately. Downgrades or cancellations may be scheduled for the end of the current billing cycle depending on the plan change flow shown in the product at the time you act.

Deleting your entire account from inside the product is treated as a request to cancel the associated subscription and remove your creator data. Account deletion is destructive and may immediately remove access to the service, even if Stripe still records a billing-cycle end date while cancellation finishes processing.

7. Refunds and statutory rights

Subscription charges are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We may choose to issue a refund, credit, or other commercial remedy in an individual case without creating an ongoing obligation to do so.

If you are an EU consumer, your mandatory statutory rights, including any rights that cannot legally be excluded for digital services, remain unaffected by these terms.

8. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law, respond to abuse or security issues, handle payment problems, or discontinue the service.

TemplateSignal supports two destructive data actions in the product: deleting imported CSV data only, and deleting the entire account. CSV deletion removes CSV-derived events and related import history. Full account deletion removes creator-linked data from the service and initiates billing cancellation for paid plans.

9. Availability, warranties, and liability

TemplateSignal is provided on an as-available basis. We aim to operate the service with reasonable care, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or complete compatibility with third-party platforms such as Notion, Stripe, Supabase, Brevo, or webhook destinations you configure.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EfficiencyNest is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or mandatory consumer protections.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the country where EfficiencyNest is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply in your country of residence within the EU or EEA.

Before starting formal proceedings, both sides agree to try to resolve the issue in good faith by contacting support. If you are an EU consumer, you may also have access to local consumer-protection or dispute-resolution channels that cannot be limited by these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational needs. Material changes will apply prospectively from the updated effective date shown on this page.
